Hampton Food and Arts Festival

The 10th Hampton Food and Arts Festival will be held on Sunday 20th May, 2012.

Jeff Lang , a guitarist, singer and songwriter who has built up a reputation for startlingly original performances, working without a set list and allowing the unique energy of each show to shape the songs, will be headlining the list of outstanding musicians that will be performing on the day. Other musicians on the day will include Danny Widdicombe, Innes Campbell, Breaking Hart Benton, The Rusty Datsuns, Dana Hassall, and Mosaic Judy.

The Hampton Festival provides an outlet for the work of both professional and up and coming visual, performance, vocal and craft artists. In addition, it is committed to fostering arts development in the local community.

Ravensbourne Spring Fair and Fun Run - Photos

A fabulous day was enjoyed by all and the kids had a "hopping" good time.  We were grateful to have Erina McCafferty from Every Moment Photography join in and take some wonderful photos throughout the day.  If you find some favourites as you scan through them and would like a copy, you can contact Erina for pricing and availability details. Part of the proceeds of the sale of any photos will be donated to the Sporting Association.

Ravensbourne Spring Fair and Fun Run - This Saturday

The inaugural Ravensbourne Spring Fair and Fun Run is almost here.   Over the last few days we've had some very hot days. The forecast for the Fair day, this Saturday 12th, is for a cooler fine day.  However, if we end up with a wet stormy day and need to cancel the Fair we will let the local radio stations know and also publish it on this website.  But fingers crossed, it will be a fine day and we hope you can make it.   It's a free event and there will be lots of entertainment for all.  If you're feeling energetic you can enter the fun run ($10) or if you want to just enjoy the beautiful scenery and fresh air you can enter the walk ($5).  Or bring your favourite outdoor chair if you just want to sit, watch the entertainment and enjoy the majestic views.  Chad Swaby , Helene Minto, Bruce Rowbotham, along with a number of other local talents will entertain you in between other events such as plank races and wooden spoon and avocado races.
