HOW TO HIRE TENNIS COURTS
Tennis courts are available to hire to non-members. Contact either Irene Taylor (4697 8129) or the Somervaille family (4697 8132) to make a booking. Hire is $10/court/hour. An additional $4/hr may apply for lights.
HOW TO JOIN THE SPORTING ASSOCIATION
Contact Maree Taylor 4697 8152 to obtain membership application forms. The membership year runs from January to December and for tennis playing members costs $85 which entitles free tennis (including court access key) and player insurance. Associate membership is available for $20.
Tennis Fixtures - The final was played in Crow's Nest on Sept 25 between Crow's Nest Cougers and Ravensbourne 1. Crow's Nest def Ravensbourne. Great tennis enjoyed by all.

Perseverance Stitchers
We continue to be fairly informal and would love to have new people come along. Even if you don't sew, you can bring along knitting, crocheting or other handwork. It's a great way to get to know people in your local area. We meet at Perseverance Hall at 9 am on the 1st and 3rd Wed of the month.

Crows Nest Garden Club
Will host the very first CROWS NEST GARDEN GATHERING in beautiful Centenary Park in the centre of Crows Nest township, on Wednesday 19th October from 9am to 1:30pm as part of Crows Nest Festival Week. And everyone's invited !! Meet famous garden expert, Brian Sams for advice about your problem plants or just to chat about your garden. Listen to our local specialists with a wealth of knowledge in their different fields.
All our Stall Exhibitors will have quality plants on display with lots of them for sale, or you can win a prize in our fabulous Multidraw Raffle. When you're all gardened out get a cuppa at the Garden Club's refreshment stall and relax in the shade, or take a stroll around the Town Square and discover some of the special places in Crows Nest. We aim to have a friendly day with everyone who loves gardens. Profits are earmarked for Crows Nest Rural Fire Brigade, and to put more identification signs in Hartmann Park - an unspoiled bushland area just down the street from the Heritage Building Society.
