Ravensbourne Spring Fair and Fun Run - This Saturday

The inaugural Ravensbourne Spring Fair and Fun Run is almost here.   Over the last few days we've had some very hot days. The forecast for the Fair day, this Saturday 12th, is for a cooler fine day.  However, if we end up with a wet stormy day and need to cancel the Fair we will let the local radio stations know and also publish it on this website.  But fingers crossed, it will be a fine day and we hope you can make it.   It's a free event and there will be lots of entertainment for all.  If you're feeling energetic you can enter the fun run ($10) or if you want to just enjoy the beautiful scenery and fresh air you can enter the walk ($5).  Or bring your favourite outdoor chair if you just want to sit, watch the entertainment and enjoy the majestic views.  Chad Swaby , Helene Minto, Bruce Rowbotham, along with a number of other local talents will entertain you in between other events such as plank races and wooden spoon and avocado races.





Simply by entering the Walk and Fun Run Event, you will automatically go into the draw for this fantastic prize that was donated by Wes and Irene Elphick from Ravensbourne Forest Chalets.

Two nights of accommodation in a queen deluxe spa chalet, flowers and chocolates in your chalet, plus 2 complimentary one hour massages.

A variety of other events are planned to cater for different ages throught the day, plus there will be stalls for local produce, food/drinks cakes, craft and local history.
