Hampton Food and Arts Festival

The 10th Hampton Food and Arts Festival will be held on Sunday 20th May, 2012.

Jeff Lang , a guitarist, singer and songwriter who has built up a reputation for startlingly original performances, working without a set list and allowing the unique energy of each show to shape the songs, will be headlining the list of outstanding musicians that will be performing on the day. Other musicians on the day will include Danny Widdicombe, Innes Campbell, Breaking Hart Benton, The Rusty Datsuns, Dana Hassall, and Mosaic Judy.

The Hampton Festival provides an outlet for the work of both professional and up and coming visual, performance, vocal and craft artists. In addition, it is committed to fostering arts development in the local community.

The Festival's weekend of arts events starts with art and craft workshops to be held on-site on 19 May during the day.

Celebrity Chef, Dominique Rizzo will be back in 2012. In 2012 Dominique will be teamed with another fantastic chef making waves on the culinary scene. Keep your eyes peeled for the big announcement.

Dominique and her mystery co-chef will be demonstrating their exceptional culinary skills in a series of cooking demonstrations during the day using only locally sourced seasonal produce, most of which will be available for purchase from the Produce Stall at the Festival.

Throughout the day, there will also be an assortment of interactive and educative activities to keep the littlies entertained.

So come celebrate the good life on May 19 and 20, 2012 as the high country village of Hampton hosts the award winning Hampton Food & Arts Festival.
Featuring an abundance of fine food and wine, fresh produce from local growers, artisanal food products, cooking demos with guest chefs, fine art from local artists, artists in residence and craft demonstrations, kids' activities, and all day entertainment, the Hampton Festival is a fantastic autumn experience in one of south east Queensland's most picturesque regions. Don't miss it!
